I am a cyber security researcher, interested in any kind of software development topics. Recently, I completed a MS in computer science and quit my PhD on the topic of Privacy and Security in Ubiquitous Computing.

Utilizing a dockerized version of the ParrotSec Linux distribution this project is meant to completely perform automated and randomized (MSF specific) attacks, targeting a virtualized Microsoft Windows operating system. The solution additionally comes with functionalities for observing network related information resulting from the actual attack.

2020

I am currently working as a security professional in a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) being as well the first point of contact for software development topics.

2018 to 2020

After my PhD period I worked as a Systems Engineer and IT-Security Architect. I was responsible for maintaining and improving the security related infrastructure and developing software with regard to ensure the overall compliance of all products.

2017 - 2018

Finishing my MS in computer science I first started working as a PhD student respectively scientific researcher on the topic of Privacy and Security in Ubiquitous Computing. My main focus was on Differential Privacy in the context of big data.

2014 - 2017

MS in computer science with a major on Network Security. My Master's Thesis was on the topic of Streaming Algorithms for Flow-based Data Exfiltration Detection. My Master's Thesis was on the topic of Streaming Algorithms for Flow-based Data Exfiltration Detection. Additionally I was working as a student research assistant at Fraunhofer FKIE.

2010 - 2014

BS in computer science. Learning the very basic stuff. During the final phase I was more and more focusing on network security related topics. My Bachelor's Thesis deals with tracking the P2P botnet ZeroAccess
